SERVING THE FAMILY OF FAITH IN MINISTRY
As members of Faith Church, we value the gifts God has given us to serve each other in worship and mission. Has God called you to one of these ministries? Contact Elizabeth Hunter: elizabeth@faith-church.org for information about serving with any of our ministry teams.
Altar Guild - Serve God in His house by preparing the Sanctuary for worship, maintaining and caring for the sacred vessels, altar linens, and vestments, and serving the clergy and the parish.
Flower Ministry – Enhance worship by adding natural beauty in the form of flowers for worship services. Team members purchase and arrange the flowers for the sanctuary.
Lay Reading - Take on the important role of reading the scriptures for our weekly services and assisting in the serving of the elements at Communion.
Landscaping and Facilities Support – Help care for our church buildings and grounds, ensuring a tidy and beautiful setting for worship.
Music Team - Our music team guides the congregation as we sing and worship together as a church. Their focus is on fostering a meaningful worship experience during every season, and deepening our love and devotion to Christ.
Nursery Reserve – Screened and trained volunteers who are on-call in case one of our professional caregivers is unavailable to serve.
Prayer Ministry – Join with other intercessors to pray for our church, members, visitors, and our communities through our prayer chain, Evening Prayer services, and communion time prayer.
Tech Team – Provide technology, including Graphics, Sound Engineering, and Live Stream, to facilitate the worship experience for both in-person and remote participants of services and church events.
Welcome Team - Faith Church is a place where people belong, grow deeply in Christ, and bear visible witness to the Gospel in our community. The Welcome Team helps ensure that everyone who comes through our doors has a great experience by assisting with the parking lot, greeting everyone, helping with name tags, making coffee, serving as ushers, and connecting people with clergy or other members.
…to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ…Ephesians 4:12
FAITH KIDS
Each Sunday we strive to engage our children and students in learning about God and His Word. Kids of similar ages fellowship together as they explore Biblical truths in age-specific Sunday school classes.
Nursery and Pre-school
Children ages four and under are welcome in the nursery before the 9:30 service, where they can enjoy music, Bible stories, and coloring. They may be picked up following the service.
Faith Kids, Children Grades K-4
Kids are welcome to enjoy the service with their parents in the sanctuary
Faith Foundations, Grades 5-6
These students will begin the service with their parent(s) for praise and worship. After a prayer, they will be dismissed to their Sunday school class. They will rejoin you in the service to share communion with you and our church family.
Middle School - High School
These students leave worship service at the prayer on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month for special teaching and fellowship. The 1st and 3rd Sundays (and occasional 5th) they remain in the service with their families.
We love our kids and youth volunteers! To volunteer email Krista Handgis.
COMMUNITY GROUPS SERVE, LEARN, AND SHARE LIFE TOGETHER
Community groups are a central aspect of our church life. They purpose to create and maintain caring, Biblical community to promote transformation to Christlikeness. They are how we encourage each other & grow in our relationship with Jesus.
We have a variety of formats, with varied levels of commitment.
You may sign up and learn more about all of our community groups here.

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. Hebrews 10:24-25
GUYS GATHERING FOR GOOD
Who We Are: A group of men who exist to bring glory to God through knowing, loving and serving our Lord, Jesus Christ.
How: This is done by equipping men with biblical teaching, fellowship, prayer, and discipleship.
Why: The desired outcome is to train men to fulfill their biblically instructed role in the community and home. The men’s ministry group is a place for men to be equipped to engage and serve others. Also, it’s a place for fellowship and accountability with the openness to share ups and downs and be encouraged.
When: We gather on Tuesday mornings at 7 am at Faith Church Anglican, and study Paul’s Letter to the Galatians. Doors open at 6:30 AM for coffee and fellowship. Come early, connect with other men, and grow together in the freedom Christ offers. Sign up HERE.

FAITH CHURCH GARDEN
The Garden: A place to rest and grow

We invite you to join us in our Faith Garden to grow food, enjoy flowers and miniature fruit trees, and experience the peace and rest of God. Our team meets regularly to add to and maintain the plants, and harvest the fruits for the benefit of those around us. For information about participating with us, or to donate your own surplus vegetables for donation to our local food pantries, please contact Garden Director, Deacon Cindy Telisak - ctelisak@faith-church.org.
WORKING TOWARD THE GREAT COMMISSION
Vision – To create and foster a culture that longs to share Jesus with people wherever they are, near and far. To form a foundational culture of missional living that supports both local and global Community Engagement.
Strategy – Through both local and global Community Engagement partners, we will share Jesus through our service, gifts and prayer.

Alton Boyd Elementary School in Allen - We partner with Boyd Elementary, being “Boyd Kind” to our neighbors by supporting the teachers and kids throughout the year. We help with the Christmas Store by providing presents and helping hands, and at other times of the year by refreshment to these dedicated teachers.
First Responders in Fairview - We support our local Firefighters, Police Officers and Paramedic/EMTs with meals, cookies and friendships. We want to bless those who serve our community.
The Anglican Relief and Development Fund - “ARDF connects Anglican churches with resources as they meet the needs of their communities, expanding the Kingdom of Christ through tangible acts of compassion in their contexts. We are honored to be the silent partner in the background, supporting the local church to encourage families and communities with practical help and solid solutions through a living Gospel that feeds body, soul, and spirit.” The ARDF operates both domestic and international projects.

Global Partners
Emiliani Project in Colombia, South America - “Our mission is to protect, nurture and educate abandoned children so that they are able to live healthy and fulfilling lives, from childhood through early adulthood. We achieve this mission by ensuring that all of our children’s needs are met. This includes a home, nutritious meals, formal education, medical care, counseling, and a loving and caring environment. We work with all children in need, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity or gender. We provide monthly support, engage in annual mission trips and build relationships with the leaders and kids.”
The Faith Church team travels to Colombia to help to build dorms for kids, paint existing structures and most importantly build lasting relationships with the staff and children they serve. Sharing God’s love through service and presence leads to growing disciples both in Colombia and here in Texas. When we serve, we also grow closer to God and each other.
Hope Ignited in Guinea, West Africa - “We work to reshape the imagination of the people of Guinea towards God’s coming Kingdom through gospel centered healthcare, agricultural projects and capacity building programs. We support this amazing ministry on a monthly basis and are exploring new ways to partner with them.”
