KEY QUESTIONS

What do we believe?

Biblical

At the heart of our faith is Jesus Christ, our Savior who died and rose again so that we might be reconciled to God. We believe the Bible is the Word of God written, revealing the good news of salvation through Christ. Scripture is our final authority in all matters of faith and life. It not only teaches us about Jesus but also draws us into a living relationship with Him. As Anglicans, we seek to be shaped by God’s Word, allowing it to saturate our worship, prayer, and daily lives as we hear, read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest its truth. Our deepest desire is to know Jesus and make Him known.

Liturgical

Our worship is centered on Jesus Christ and nourishes our relationship with Him. Through the liturgy of the Book of Common Prayer, we gather to pray, proclaim Scripture, celebrate Holy Communion, and offer heartfelt praise. These ancient patterns of worship help us remember and re-enter the saving work of Christ—His life, death, and resurrection—week after week. Anglican worship is participatory and reverent, drawing us into deeper fellowship with Christ and with one another as we grow as His disciples and proclaim His love to the world.

Catholic

We belong to the one, holy, catholic (meaning universal) and apostolic Church. Our faith is grounded in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, and expressed through the ancient creeds and the threefold ministry of bishops, priests, and deacons. Like the early Church, we joyfully confess Jesus as Lord and Savior and stand in unity with all who follow Him around the globe. As catholic Christians, we embrace the fullness of the Christian faith handed down through the centuries and seek to live it out in the power of the Holy Spirit, making Christ known in every generation.

What if I have questions when I get there?

Our Welcome Team members can answer any questions and help direct you to where you or your kids need to go: classrooms, nursery, restrooms, or sanctuary.

What are the services like?

Our worship is liturgical. It’s historical and current, rich and robust. The service is divided into two sections: the Ministry of the Word where we focus on the Bible and pray together, and the Ministry of the Table where we receive communion and remember and celebrate Jesus’ death and resurrection. We are sent out to the world at the end of our service to love and serve the Lord and people.

What kind of music do you have?

We use a variety of musical styles and instruments in our worship. Some of the songs we sing were written recently, while others are classic hymns that have been sung throughout the ages in the church.

How long is your service?

Our services run about 60 to 70 minutes. We have coffee, snacks, and folks who would love to hang out.

What do you offer for kids?

For children 0-4 years old, we have a professionally-staffed nursery at both services. Children may be checked in up to 15 minutes before the service and can be picked up after the service concludes. Parents are welcome to visit their children in the nursery at any time. Parents are also welcome to keep their children with them in the service.

Our FaithKids Sunday program (9:30 AM service only) offers Biblical instruction, fellowship, and worship for Kindergarten through elementary school-age children. Children are dismissed during the first part of the service. After the sermon and near the middle point of the service, the children return so they can participate in communion with their families. Children are always welcome to remain with their parents during the entire service.

Our FaithFoundations Sunday program (9:30 AM service only) offers Biblical instruction and fellowship for junior high and high school students. They are dismissed during the first part of the service. After the sermon and near the middle point of the service, the youth return so they can participate in communion with their families. Youth are always welcome to remain during the entire service.
